Quick decorating tips to spice up your home

Decorating or redecorating your home should not cost a fortune or take a lifetime. These simple tips will help you revitalize the space in your home, with simple yet elegant touches.
- Reuse old frames: Got old picture frames lying around? Why not put a simple pattern behind them and reorganize the frames. This will change any space in a flash.
- Paint the insides of your cupboards: Painting the inside of any cupboard will instantly give that area a pop of colour, thereby adding pizazz to a once dull space.
- Chalk board paint: Mark off a section on an empty wall and paint it with chalkboard paint. This can be filled with memos, reminders, shopping lists and messages, creating a fun way to stay in touch. This also creates a focal wall where guests and family members can show off their creative skills.
- Mix and match knobs: Instead of changing the rug, or new cushions, change the handles and knobs on doors. This will give it a funky new look and will incorporate colour without a long term commitment.
