Silver Award for House of York at the 2013 Algoa Fm Homemakers Expo
A world class antique road show featuring a gourmet garage, bartenders workshops, enthusiastic visitors, and DIY extraordinaire’s is what the 2013 Algoa FM Homemakers Expo was all about. House of York participated in the ‘antique road show’ themed expo which took place from the 25th – 28thJuly.
The 15th Algoa Fm Homemakers Expo was a celebration of design, creative products, DIY experts and household items and furniture. With a record breaking number of over 19 000 visitors through the underground doors of Moffet on Main Lifestyle Centre, visitors could find an amazing variety of products and ideas.
Visitors were thrilled to see the silver award winning antique yet trendy inspired House of York stand where thousands of people just couldn’t help but stop and view the new contemporary products. Another draw card to the stand was the hamper, to the value of R1500, that was up for grabs which consisted of Bamboo and wooden products. House of York showcased beautiful modern concept products at the show which were clear eye catchers. Eager shoppers walked away with a variety of House of York products including their new Elevated utensils as well as their environmentally friendly Bamboo range.
The House of York team delivered the hamper to the lucky winner Mrs Elizabeth Fredericks of Cotswold, Port Elizabeth. She said she was a regular visitor to the Homemakers Expo and was really excited to receive such a great prize.
The 2013 Algoa Fm ‘Antique Road Show’ Homemakers Expo was one of its kind, exceeding visitors’ expectations. House of York was proud to participate in the 15th annual Port Elizabeth Homemakers Expo.
