This year’s show was held on Thursday, 24 July - Sunday, 26 July. House of York took this Homemaker’s Expo head on. With the bright House of York green and the new ranges of bright colours for our products, our stall matched the theme and looked fantastic! So fantastic, that the Homemaker’s Expo stall judges awarded us a Silver award for our efforts.

Keen crowds flocked to our stand and people were very impressed with the new ranges, with many commenting on the great quality House of York has always provided. We picked consumers’ brains by asking them to fill in our questionnaires, standing them a chance to win a generous hamper worth about R1000. The winning title went to Mrs Pat Hutton from PE! Congratulations!

Overall, this year’s expo was buzzing as usual; filled with anything from gardens to furniture to household equipment, yummy foods, coffee fanatics and of course fun and laughter, thanks to comedian Gino Fabri - who paid us many a visits in his superhero costumes. Great fun was had by all!
